natural sinus relief

This is an easy to make concoction, that always does the trick. I made this tea like drink for my husband and kiddos who were all stuffed up and suffering from sinusitis recently. They all seemed to be feeling a little bit better the next morning and in a few days they were all back to their normal healthy selves.

Organic Ingredients:

1 cup warm water

1 tbsp. raw honey (local is better for building up immunity to allergens)

1 tbsp. raw apple cider vinegar (with the mother)

lemon juice (to suit your taste preferences)

pinch of cayenne pepper

pinch of turmeric

Why it works:

Raw apple cider vinegar with the mother immediately thins out mucus as does cayenne pepper, making if an effective home treatment for sinus issues. I put in a double dose of cayenne but use a little less for my husband and kiddos who all don’t want to taste it.

This is useful for when you are feeling a cold, flu symptoms, sinusitis or allergies coming on. So the sooner you start taking this regiment the better, then you will have thinner mucus and less inflammation to tackle.

Use what you have– cinnamon and powdered ginger could be added or substituted for turmeric. Lime juice would be effective in place of lemon juice and even red wine vinegar, would all be good substitutions.
